Terms and Conditions
Last Updated: September 3, 2026
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of this website, its digital products, courses, educational materials, services, and related content operated by Jaren Dorman Studio LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing this website, purchasing a product, enrolling in a course, or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the website or purchase our products or services.
1. Educational Purpose
Our courses, tutorials, videos, downloads, resources, and other educational materials are provided for educational and informational purposes only.
We make no guarantee that participation in any course will result in a particular level of skill, employment opportunity, business result, income level, client acquisition, career advancement, or other specific outcome.
Your results depend on numerous factors, including your experience, effort, practice, implementation, available tools, market conditions, and other circumstances outside our control.
2. Course Access
When you purchase a digital course, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the course materials for your own educational purposes.
Your purchase does not transfer ownership of any course content or intellectual property to you.
You may not share your login credentials, course access, videos, files, downloads, or other materials with another person unless we expressly authorize it in writing.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe an account is being shared, misused, copied, distributed, or used in violation of these Terms.
3. Intellectual Property
All content provided through this website and our courses, including but not limited to:
- videos;
- lesson content;
- course structure;
- written materials;
- graphics;
- images;
- presentations;
- downloadable files;
- 3D models;
- Blender files;
- templates;
- worksheets;
- reference materials;
- branding;
- logos; and
- website content
is owned by or licensed to Jaren Dorman Studio LLC and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may use course materials for your own personal education and professional development.
Unless expressly permitted in writing, you may not reproduce, republish, sell, sublicense, redistribute, publicly display, upload, share, copy, modify for resale, create competing educational products from, or commercially distribute our course materials.
You may use skills, techniques, workflows, and knowledge learned through the course in your own creative or professional work.
4. Student Work and Projects
Any original work you independently create while applying concepts learned in the course remains your property, subject to any third-party intellectual property rights that may apply.
The purchase of a course does not grant you rights to use Company trademarks, proprietary course assets, protected designs, copyrighted examples, or third-party intellectual property outside the scope permitted by law or these Terms.
You are responsible for ensuring that your own work does not infringe the intellectual property rights of others.
5. Software and Third-Party Tools
Some course content may demonstrate or reference third-party software, platforms, services, or tools, including software such as Blender or other design applications.
We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for:
- software changes;
- discontinued features;
- pricing changes;
- compatibility issues;
- account restrictions;
- outages;
- updates; or
- changes to third-party terms.
Course materials may continue to be useful even if software interfaces or features change over time, but we do not guarantee that every lesson will remain visually identical to future versions of third-party software.
6. Payments
All prices are displayed in the currency shown at checkout.
You authorize us and our payment processors to charge the payment method you provide for the full purchase amount, including any applicable taxes or fees.
You are responsible for providing accurate billing and payment information.
We may change pricing for future purchases at any time. Price changes do not affect purchases already completed.
Promotional pricing, discount codes, launch offers, or limited-time discounts may be modified or discontinued at any time unless otherwise expressly stated.
7. Refund Policy
Refund eligibility is governed by the refund policy displayed on the website or at checkout at the time of purchase.
Unless otherwise stated in that policy, purchasing immediate access to digital course materials may limit or eliminate refund eligibility once substantial course content has been accessed, downloaded, or consumed.
We reserve the right to deny refund requests where there is evidence of:
- substantial course consumption followed by a refund request;
- downloading or copying materials before requesting a refund;
- account sharing;
- abuse of the refund policy;
- fraudulent transactions; or
- repeated purchases and refund requests.
Nothing in this section limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
8. Chargebacks
If you believe a billing error has occurred, please contact us before initiating a chargeback so we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue.
Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in immediate suspension of course access.
We reserve the right to provide payment processors or financial institutions with relevant transaction records, account-access records, acceptance of these Terms, and other evidence related to the purchase.
9. Lifetime Access
If a product is advertised as including “lifetime access,” “permanent access,” or similar wording, this means access for the commercially reasonable life of the product or platform, not necessarily the lifetime of the purchaser.
We may discontinue, replace, migrate, or materially restructure a course or hosting platform in the future.
Where commercially reasonable, we will attempt to provide notice or alternative access arrangements if a product advertised with long-term access is discontinued.
10. Course Updates
We may modify, update, reorganize, add to, or remove course materials at our discretion.
We are not obligated to provide future updates unless specifically stated as part of the purchase.
11. Live Sessions, Webinars, and Additional Services
If your purchase includes or offers optional live sessions, workshops, webinars, critiques, office hours, consulting, or other services, additional terms may apply.
Attendance at scheduled live sessions is your responsibility.
Unless otherwise stated, missed live sessions are not automatically eligible for refunds, rescheduling, or private replacement sessions.
We may record live educational sessions. Where applicable, participants will be informed that recording is taking place.
12. Community Conduct
If access to a private community, discussion group, Discord server, forum, group chat, or similar space is included, you agree to behave professionally and respectfully.
We may remove a participant from a community or revoke community access for conduct including:
- harassment;
- threats;
- discrimination;
- spam;
- solicitation;
- unauthorized promotion;
- sharing paid materials;
- impersonation;
- fraudulent behavior; or
- disruptive conduct.
Removal from a community does not automatically entitle you to a refund.
13. Prohibited Uses
You may not use this website or course materials to:
- violate any law;
- infringe intellectual property rights;
- resell or redistribute course content;
- give unauthorized users access;
- scrape or systematically copy the course;
- upload course materials to file-sharing platforms;
- train or build a competing course using copied course content;
- misrepresent our materials as your own;
- attempt to bypass security or access restrictions; or
- interfere with the operation of the website or course platform.
14. Artificial Intelligence and Automated Systems
You may not upload substantial portions of our proprietary course content, transcripts, videos, downloadable materials, or other protected content into artificial intelligence systems for the purpose of reproducing, redistributing, commercializing, or creating a competing educational product based substantially on our materials.
This restriction does not prevent you from using general skills or concepts you personally learned through the course.
15. No Professional Advice
Nothing provided through our website or courses constitutes legal, tax, financial, engineering, manufacturing, medical, or other regulated professional advice.
You are responsible for obtaining qualified professional advice when appropriate.
16. Manufacturing and Production Disclaimer
Where course content relates to footwear, 3D modeling, prototyping, additive manufacturing, product development, or production, you are responsible for independently evaluating the safety, manufacturability, performance, fit, durability, and suitability of anything you create.
Digital models and techniques demonstrated in a course should not be assumed to be production-ready solely because they are demonstrated or successfully created in software.
Manufacturing outcomes may vary based on materials, machines, processes, tolerances, operators, software settings, and other factors.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jaren Dorman Studio LLC and its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of the website, course, or related services.
This includes, without limitation, loss of income, business opportunities, profits, data, reputation, production costs, manufacturing costs, or other economic losses.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from a particular purchase will not exceed the amount you paid us for the product or service giving rise to the claim.
18. Disclaimer of Warranties
The website, courses, and materials are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.
We do not guarantee that the website or course platform will always operate without interruption or error.
19. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jaren Dorman Studio LLC and its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your violation of these Terms, misuse of the course materials, infringement of third-party rights, or unlawful conduct.
20. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the website, courses, communities, or services if you materially violate these Terms.
Termination for violation of these Terms does not necessarily entitle you to a refund.
Sections relating to intellectual property, limitations of liability, indemnification, dispute resolution, and other provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
21. Privacy
Your use of the website is also subject to our Privacy Policy.
By using the website, you acknowledge that your information may be processed in accordance with that policy.
22. Third-Party Services
We may use third-party platforms for hosting, payments, email communication, analytics, video delivery, community access, or other services.
Your use of those services may also be subject to the respective third party’s terms and privacy policies.
23. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or your purchase shall be handled in accordance with applicable law.
You may want an attorney to add a more specific venue, arbitration, class-action waiver, and dispute-resolution provision, because those clauses need to be drafted carefully to maximize enforceability.
24. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
The revised version will be posted on this website with an updated “Last Updated” date.
Changes will apply prospectively unless otherwise required by law.
